Get Hands-On With Targeted Transperineal Biopsies at AUA 2021

Compared to transrectal, transperineal is proven to be the cleaner and ultimately safer approach for prostate biopsies. Recent advances in needle guide technologies have popularized the freehand method by making it easier to pivot around the puncture holes. These are great for systematic biopsies, but are even better when used with a fusion system like the Fusion Bx for MRI-targeted biopsies. Transperineal biopsies performed with Focal Healthcare’s Fusion Bx system offers the same advantages as freehand, in addition to hands-free support, stability and repeatability.

Don’t believe us? See for yourself at this year’s AUA annual meeting in sunny Las Vegas from Sept 10th-13th. We will be demonstrating transrectal, traditional transperineal and “freehand” transperineal workflows using the Fusion Bx 2.0 at Booth 3234. If you’d like to secure a one-on-one demo with us, book it here.

In addition to the booth demonstrations, the Fusion Bx 2.0 will be one of the fusion platforms highlighted in the hands-on transperineal interventions course, ‘105HO: Introduction to Office‐Based Transperineal Prostate Interventions’, proctored by Dr. Wysock of NYU and Bellevue Hospital. The course is Saturday, Sept 11th from 7:30am- 1:30pm. Participants must register in advance
